In Kuch Rang Pyar Ke Aise Bhi 16 February 2017, Dev (Shaheer Sheikh) and Sonakshi (Erica Fernandes) reach office together, Dev opens the door for Sonakshi. He then tells Sonakshi that he knows that she has moved on in her life and found someone. Sonakshi tells Dev that she doesn’t want to get into his stupid games.
Golu asks Suhana not to talk to his big Cha as he has started ignoring him altogether. Suhana tells Golu that she would do whatever she feels like. Golu tells Suhana why does she give him gifts and that she should at least stop doing that. Suhana tells Golu that she really likes his big Cha.
Baldev asks Ishwari why did he lie to Dev that Sonakshi is getting married to Jatin. Ishwari tells Baldev that she was only thinking about Dev’s future and also, Sonakshi did not tell her that she would never marry anyone. Radha Rani overhears Ishwari saying that she would get Dev married come what may. Radha Rani comes and narrates the whole thing to Vicky. She tells Vicky that once Dev gets married he would have his own child and then he won’t give Golu anything, and they will again become poor. But Vicky tells her not to worry and he decides to make a plan so that Dev doesn’t marry anyone again. Sonakshi finds flowers at her desk and asks her secretary, Paromita who has send them, but she has no idea. Sona tells her not out anything on her sek until she knows who is the sender. Sonakshi then finds a note written by Dev, congratulating her on getting married to Jatin and moving on in her life. Sonakshi decides to confront Dev on this. In his cabin, Dev is expecting Sonakshi to come and argue with him, instead Ishwari enters. He tells Ishwari if she has come to convince him to get married, there’s no use.
Sonakshi enters Dev’s cabin and Dev welcomes her. Dev congratulates her in person and Sonakshi thanks him. Dev tells her that Ishwari informed him that she is getting married to Jatin, and asked him to get married too. Sonakshi is surprised at this but asks Dev to accept it as truth and marry someone, so that he would stop troubling her. Ishwari tries to divert the conversation and asks Dev to think about his future. Sonakshi turns to Ishwari and thanks her for deepening the differences between her and Dev yet again. Dev looks at Sonakshi perplexed and asks her what she means. At school, the drawing teacher scold Golu for not drawing his family and only drawing his big Cha, but Golu keeps defending it and tells his teacher that only his big Cha takes care of him not his parents. She asks Golu to redraw his family with his parents in it. She then asks Suhana why she hasn’t drawn her father in the picture. Suhana tells her mother and father live separately and she has never seen her father. Golu hears this and asks Suhana why did she lie. He asks Suhana about Jatin, Suhana tells him that Jatin is her uncle not father. Golu decides to tell this to Dev.
Dev tells Sonakshi that even when Ishwari was trying to convince him to get married, he told her, he is not going to get married. Sonakshi also tells Dev the truth that even she has decided not to get married again and Ishwari very well knew that Jatin is only her friend and business partner. Sonakshi recalls her past and tells Dev that circumstances have changed but they are still the same. She looks at Ishwari and leaves. Dev asks his mother why did she lie to him. Ishwari says that she just wants him to move on in his life and not get stuck in the past. She asks Dev if he would throw her out of the house for lying to him and reunite with Sonakshi.
