Ishwari is cleaning Dev’s room and suddenly recalls what Sonakshi told her a day before in Kuch Rang Pyar Ke Aise Bhi. Sonakshi wanted Dev to be independent and has requested Ishwari to not help him anyway. Dev was talking to Ishwari about his work and progress and Ishwari decides to bring coffee for him. Back in Bose house, Sourabh is explaining the website and his plans to Sonakshi and rest of the family. Everyone is feeling proud of Sourabh and they decide to name the business after their family name. Sonakshi decides to go back home and asks Elena to drop her outside. As Elena comes out and Sonakshi asks what was she doing with Vicky in the car. Elena shocks all of sudden to hear this coming from Sonakshi and assures her that she is just fine. Elena tells Sonakshi that Vicky is not as bad as they thought of him and she need not worry.
At home, Dev is trying to find something in the cupboard and couldn’t find it. He decides to take Iswari’s help and notices a note left by Sonakshi on the cupboard door and doesn’t take her help. He throws a few clothes on the bed and swing in his room and finally finds the t-shirt he was looking for. Ishwari is observing the whole situation and is desperate to help her son but resists herself. She informs Dev that she has invited Ayaan’s family for dinner tonight. Sonakshi has come home and is talking with Dev’s sisters. Radha Rani scolds her for chit chatting with the girls instead of taking care of Dev. Sonakshi explains her that she wants Dev to be independent and not dependent on his mother. Rhea and Nikki start teasing Sona that Dev is a jhoru ka Ghulam and Sonakhi says that he is just a good husband. Neha cannot stand Sonakshi praising her husband and talking about her happy life. She screams at Sonakshi for publicizing her life. It was clear that she was jealous of her happiness and hence blasted at her. Sonakshi doesn’t say anything to her and walks away.
As she walks towards her room, she notices Ishwari stepping down and wonders if she helped Dev. But her room was a complete mess and Sonakshi feels happy that Ishwari kept her promise. Dev, the next day before leaving for work hands a few bag full of clothes to his mother. He tells his mother that he cannot find a single item in his cupboard. He asks Ishwari to keep his stuffs in her cupboard so that he can find when needed. At the same time, Dev also tells her that he will get independent but it will take time. Sonakshi has come to her parents’s house to meet them and notices that Elena is busy on phone. She taunts Elena and asks her to keep her phone away. Elena tells her that she will just take a call and then promise not to touch the phone at all. As Elena goes to her room to speak to Vicky, Sonakshi follows her and takes her phone forcefully. She is shocked that Elena is dating Vicky despite knowing what kind of person he is. Elena tries to explain that Vicky is not what he was before. Sonakshi threatens to expose her relationship to family if she doesn’t break up with Vicky right away. Elena message Vicky about discontinuing the relationship and he gets angry. Elena tells that Sonakshi has found the truth and might reveal it to the family as well. Vicky gets angry and throws the phone on the floor. Dev enters his room and notices that its dark and as he switches the light, he notices that Sonakshi is sitting on the swing and she has decorated it with lights. He is puzzled and not happy with this change in his room at all. He asks Sonakshi why did she make this change and she tells him that he bumps into the swing and she doesn’t want it to happen in the future. Dev doesn’t look pleased with this change but doesn’t tell Sonakshi anything. She notices that Dev is not much happy with this which is why he didn’t express his opinion over the decorated swing.
