In Kuch Rang Pyar Ke Aise Bhi 21 February 2017 episode, Sonakshi (Erica Fernandes) asks Elena who told her about Sourabh’s marriage. Bijoy comes and tells Sonakshi to stop asking Elena so many questions. He asks Elena what would she have for dinner. He excuses himself for a while and takes Asha with him. Sonakshi finds something fishy and joins them. Bijoy tells Asha that they have to ask Elena to leave, Asha asks him why is he saying so as Elena has come to meet them after seven years. He tries to explain to Asha and Sonakshi that Elena has come to meet them for a purpose. He tells both of them that Dev (Shaheer Sheikh) has sent them to find out about Suhana. Sonakshi finds Bijoy’s argument logical and gets worried for Suhana.
There, Dev calls Elena up but she disconnects. Elena decides she wouldn’t tell Dev anything. Dev messages her and asks her if she got to know anything. Elena responds saying that until now she hasn’t found anything and that her phone is about to die due to low battery. Sonakshi, Bijoy and Asha come out and Elena tells them that she is a mother of a son now. Asha asks her to show her his photo. As soon as Bijoy takes the phone to see Golu’s photo, another message pops up on the screen and its Dev’s. Dev has messaged Elena asking if she found anything or not. Sonakshi tells Bijoy that even she wants to see Elena’s son’s photo but Elena’s phone conks off. As soon as Sourabh’s in-laws leave, Bijoy shouts at Elena and asks her to leave immediately. He tells Elena that he did not expect this from her. Elena leaves from there crying. Sonakshi asks Bijoy why did he talk like that to Elena, and how was he so sure. Bijoy tells Sonakshi about Dev’s message. Seeing Elena coming out of Sonakshi’s house, Dev asks her what happened and if she was able to find anything about Suhana. Elena narrates to him what happened inside and how happy everyone was but she spoiled everything. Dev tells Elena to go back to Ishwari villa and says that he would find out for himself. Before leaving, Elena requests him not to ruin Sonakshi and her family’s happiness, and wait for tonight. Dev barges in Sonakshi’s room at night and goes through her files. In her files, he finds their marriage certificate and recalls how they got married. He recalls how they got separated and divorced. He recalls how he got to know that Sonakshi could never conceive and have a baby of her own. Then, he finds a file of Sonakshi’s pregnancy reports and finally, Suhana’s birth certificate, which says that Sonakshi is Suhana’s mother but the certificate doesn’t have father’s name.
Suddenly, Dev feels completely overpowered with emotion. Suhana comes running in the room and waves at him, Dev smiles and waves back at her. Suhana goes outside to call Sonakshi but by the time Sonakshi comes in Dev leaves. Suhana tries to tell Sonakshi that Golu’s big Cha was there only. Sonakshi tells Suhhana that may be he is a superman and they both laugh.
Dev reaches home, where Ishwari is getting worried and talking to Baldev. Dev is really happy and he spontaneously hugs Ishwari. Ishwari asks him what has happened. Dev tells Ishwari and everyone present there that now he is not just a son, a failed husband and a brother, he is also a father. Ishwari is too happy to react and asks Dev if it is true. Radha Rani and Vicky are shocked, while Baldev is shares Dev and Ishwari’s happiness. Dev tells Ishwari that he has a six-year-old daughter with Sonakshi. He tells Ishwari that her name is Suhana.
