Dev has been sandwiched between his mother and wife since the day of his marriage in Kuch Rang Pyar Ke Aise Bhi. His very possessive mother finds it difficult to let her son enjoy his newly married life with Sonakshi. Hence Ishwari desperately has been doing certain things to ensure Dev always stays in front of her eyes. She also went to the extent to force Dev cancel his honeymoon trip to Paris. Although Dev and Sonakshi happily accepted her word, Ishwari still is not satisfied with Dev’s affection towards his wife.
She fears that Sonakshi and her family will take Dev away from her hence keeps on making plans for the same. Ishwari couldn’t tolerate the fact that Dev calls Sonakshi’s mother as Maa and was getting close to her. Ever since she witnessed this sight, Ishwari ignored Dev and didn’t talk to him at all. She knew Dev would come after her like a lost puppy and she was right. Dev promised to never refer to anyone other than her as Maa. He has not informed Sonakshi about this deal and she I shocked when Dev calls his mom as aunty all of sudden. Asha is surprised how Dev called her aunty instead of Maa. Dev doesn’t reveal the real reason and only told Sonakshi that he would take time to adjust to this set up.
Additionally, Sonakshi has taken a step to make Dev a little independent. She has asked Ishwari, in fact requested her, to not help Dev with any work related to their room so that he learns to manage without his mother. Ishwari is shocked at Sonakshi audacity but approves her after realising that Dev would never agree for this new condition. Dev cannot find a single thing in his cupboard and creates a mess while looking after stuffs. But he wants to give Sonakshi’s new plan a try and attempts to keep his clothes and other belongings in an order. Ishwari cannot resist herself at times and decides to help him. When Dev brought a bag full of his clothes to Ishwari to keep in her cupboard, she readily agrees to keep them arranged for him. In the upcoming episodes you see that Dev Dixit is soon going to turn a year older. Naturally the women most important women in his life are too excited about his birthday. They want to make him feel special and make respective plans for the same. Ishwari wants to spend the whole day with Dev and Sonakshi wants Dev to be with her. Now, Mr Dixit is in a fix and cannot decide whom to choose and how. Choosing anyone of the two would mean hurting the other one and Dev being a gentleman would never do that. He is in a fix and wonders how to go ahead in this situation. Ishwari or Sonakshi, whom do you think Dev will choose?
