In Kuch Rang Pyar Ke Aise Bhi 22 February 2017 episode, Bijoy tells Asha that he is sure that Elena had come to find something for Dev (Shaheer Sheikh). Bijoy says that he saw Dev’s message on Elena’s phone and that’s why when he questioned her, Elena was absolutely quiet and left immediately. Sonakshi (Erica Fernandes) agrees with Bijoy and says that may be Dev is trying to find out about Suhana and may be he is even keeping an eye on them. As soon as she says this, she realizes that all day Suhana was talking about Golu’s big Cha.
Ishwari is too elated to know that she is a grandmother now. She forgets everything and tells Dev that should immediately go and get her. Without even waiting for Dev to say anything, she says that they should get a lot of toys for her. Ishwari asks Dev if he has a picture of her. Dev asks Ishwari to calm down and tells her that he would get her home soon. There, Sonakshi gets worried that Dev would take Suhana away from her. She also recalls how Suhana was again and again talking about Golu’s big Cha, she infers that may be Golu’s big Cha is Dev only. Next morning, Dev reaches Suhana’s school and stands outside her classroom. Suhana gets distracted and her teacher scolds her and pay attention in the class. Dev meets Suhana during lunch. They both sit and have lunch together. Dev apologizes to Suhana because she got a scolding due to him. He then asks Suhana to tell everything about her family. Suhana tells Dev that she has a mother, grandparents and Sourabh mama. Dev asks Suhana about her father. He asks Suhana if her mother ever told her about her father. Suhana tells Dev that Sonakshi told her that her father is a really good man, a good brother and a good son, only that he couldn’t be good to her mother. Dev asks Suhana if she knows her father’s name. Suhana tells him that her father’s name is Dev Dixit. Dev asks Suhana if she wants to meet him. Suhana tells him that Sonakshi once asked him if she would like to meet him but she refused thinking that if he could not keep her mother happy, how would he keep her happy. Dev tells Suhana that he is Dev Dixit. Suhana goes quiet. She recalls that she promised Sonakshi that she doesn’t want to meet and live with her father.
At home, Asha gets milk and Suhana’s favourite chocolate for her but Suhana looks unamused and even, upset. Asha asks Suhana what’s the matter and why is she so low on energy. Suhana tells Asha that she met her father, Dev Dixit, today. She says that Dev is Golu’s big Cha. Asha puts two and two together and realizes that Golu is none other than Elena’s son.
Asha calls Sonakshi home to tell her that Suhana is really upset and lost as she met Dev in the school today and Dev has told her that he is her father. Asha also tells Sona that Suhana hasn’t eaten anything since she has returned from school. Sonakshi runs towards Suhana’s room and finds Suhana staring at the wall with a pencil and notebook kept on her lap. Sonakshi doesn’t say anything to Suhana.
Ishwari is eagerly waiting for Suhana and Dev but Dev comes alone. Ishwari asks Dev where has he left Suhana. She asks Dev how Suhana looks like, she tells Dev that Suhana must have his eyes, and smile. She says that Suhana must be like her daadi. Dev tells Ishwari that Suhana is not like both of them at all. He says that in fact, Suhana is very different, and really pretty. Suddenly, Dev says that Suhana is just like her mother. Ishwari’s smile vanishes. But Baldev tries to change the topic. Ishwari asks Dev why hasn’t he got her home. Dev looks on.
