In Kuch Rang Pyar Ke Aise Bhi 24 March 2017 episode, Asha and Baldev support Dev (Shaheer Sheikh) and Sonakshi’s (Erica Fernandes) decision of  living together for Suhana’s happiness. Dev tells Suhana that sometimes elders also behave kids and then kids show them the right way. Dev tells Suhana to go home. Sonakshi tells Asha to take Suhana home and prepare for Sourabh’s Ashirwaad ceremony. Dev tells Suhana to go home with her Naani, Suhana corrects him and says that Asha is her Dida, but because Asha is too cool for a Dida, she calls her by her name. Dev agrees with Suhana and thanks Asha for her support. Dev and Sonakshi go office and Dev asks Sonakshi when is she coming to his house. Sonakshi looks at Dev quizzically and asks him what does he mean by that. She asks him when is he coming to live with them instead. Dev gets stunned and tells Sonakshi that she knows very well that he cannot come and live with her family. Sonakshi tells Dev that just because she is a woman she is expected to come and live with his family and calls his home a madhouse. Dev answers her back and says that Bijoy also keeps shouting at him all the time. Sonakshi tells him that her house’s noise is way better then his house’s peace.  Dev asks Sonakshi to stop being a feminist. Sonakshi asks him what is wrong with that, Dev responds that sometimes she says that all are equal and suddenly, girls are better than boys for her. Sonakshi tells Dev not to divert from the topic and says that he can tell Suhana that he cannot come and live with her, so that Suhana would go back to Kolkata. Sonakshi finally comes up with the idea that they can live in each other’s house for a week, alternatively. Dev is still sceptical, Sonakshi leaves. Sonakshi reaches home and Suhana asks her what did she talk to Dev and if they took some decision. Sonakshi gives Suhana a ague answer and tells her that Dev may come today or later. Everyone gets ready for Sourabh and Ronita’s Ashirwaad ceremony. Daadi, Bijoy, Asha and Sonakshi put a tikka on Sourabh and Ronita’s forehead and so do Ronita’s parents. Everyone is celebrating happily and Jatin tells Sourabh to dance. Sourabh tells that everyone has to dance with him and Ronita and they wouldn’t dance alone. Everyone agrees. Suhana looks sad and Jatin asks her what is the matter, Sonakshi also looks at Suhana’s long face and enquires. Suhana says that she is waiting for Dev.

There, Dev thinks a lot and decides that he would go and live with Sonakshi’s family for one week. When he is about to leave, Ishwari (Supriya Pilgaonkar) gets worried. Dev tells Ishwari that he was, in fact, suggesting to shift in another house but Sonakshi stopped him and said that Suhana needs whole family. Baldev prasies Dev and tells Ishwari that she should be proud of her son and the decision he has taken. Ishwari feeds Dev ‘dahi-cheeni’ (Sweet curd) and wishes him luck. When Dev leaves, Ishwari tells Baldev that she has no option but to be happy. Dev reaches Bose house unannounced and Bijoy gets shocked to see him as Sourabh’s in-laws are still in the house and the celebration is underway. Dev asks Sonakshi that she did not inform Bijoy about their agreement of living with each other’s family for one-one week. Sonakshi tells him that he should have informed before arriving.
