In Kuch Rang Pyar Ke Aise Bhi 3 February 2017 episode, Sonakshi (Erica Fernandes) finally arrives home after a long day at work and after struggling to come out of the office where Dev (Shaheer Sheikh) had locked her. She finds Soha’s note which asked her to play the TV. Soha has recorded a really sweet video for Sona apologizing for not being able to keep awake. She says that she has to go to sleep because she needs to go to school the next day as she, also, wants to become a successful woman like her. Sonakshi is really moved seeing the video. At the end of the video, Soha asks Sona to look to her left as Asha and Bijoy are standing there. Asha and Bijoy tell Sona that Soha is exactly like her. She is very responsible and acts in a mature way at this tender age. Bijoy tells Sona that she is very proud her. Baldev tells Golu to go and call Dev for dinner. He then asks Radha Rani where is Ishwari, Radha Rani tells him that she is in her room and that he doesn’t need to force her if she doesn’t want to come. Baldev goes in Ishwari’s room and asks her to come down for dinner. Ishwari says that she is very tired and doesn’t feel like eating but Baldev takes her down.
There, Dev gets pizza for everyone and asks Ishwari to try it. Ishwari gets upset that Dev did not have food prepared by her. Golu tells Dev that Ishwari prepared the food with her own hands. Dev asks Ishwari to serve him food. Ishwari gets emotional and tells him that he loves her a lot and that is why she made the food herself. Dev gets a call from office and leaves the dinner table. Radha Rani tells her at least he is eating the food. Baldev asks Ishwari to have food and feeds her with his own hands. Ishwari tastes the food and realizes that there is no salt in the food. She comes running to Dev and asks him if liked the food. Dev praises the food and leaves. Ishwari again gets upset and tells Baldev that Dev doesn’t care for anything anymore and he doesn’t even remember the taste of the food made by her. She says to him that she never thought that Sonakshi would do such a harm to her and Dev’s relationship.
Next morning, Dev and Vicky reach office. Vicky asks Dev if Sonakshi called him, Dev tells him that she is so arrogant that she did not call. When Dev sees his employees standing outside, he asks them what is the matter and why are they standing out. They tell Dev that last night there was fire in the office and the firefighters broke the lock. Now, the new lock’s keys are with Sonakshi. He calls up Sonakshi but she cuts his call. Dev gets angry and scolds Vicky that because of him only he had to bend in front of Sonakshi. He ridicules Vicky saying that what kind of CEO he is, and why didn’t he call someone to break the lock. Soha reaches school to find Golu standing with his friend. Golu tells her that last time she complained to the principal and got him scolded, but this time she won’t get away with it. He takes out his ink pen and throws ink on Soha’s clothes. Soha tells him that she would right away go to the principal and tell her what he did. As Soha leaves, Golu tells his friend that this time the principal would scold Soha only and not him.
Dev stars breaking the lock himself when Sonakshi arrives and asks him to stop. Dev tells her that he doesn’t take orders from anyone. Sonakshi tells him to keep aside his ego and see that its her office also, she opens the lock and gets inside with her employees. One of Dev’s employees comes to him with the dustbin in which Sonakshi lit the fire. An infuriated Dev goes to Sonakshi’s cabin and tells her that she cannot get away with things she is doing. Suddenly, some income tax officers come to office and tell Dev they need to talk to him because they have got a tip that he is doing some illegal work. Dev tells them that his company is not into any illegal work and if they want they can check their records. Dev warns Sonakshi that she should take her false complaint back.
Sonakshi tells the officers that Dev is lying and hands them over the file she stumbled upon last night. Vicky, who is the main culprit is standing behind. The officers check the records and find inconsistencies. They tell Dev about it and Dev is shocked. He calls Vicky and questions him, Vicky feigns ignorance. The officers ask Dev to vacate the office premises as they would seal his office for further investigation. Dev threatens Sonakshi that she would have to pay for what she did.
