Sony Tv’s prime time show Kuch Rang Pyar Ke Aise Bhi is one of the most watched shows of the small screen. Dev and Sonakshi’s love story has impressed the viewers to a great extent. After a long struggle the two have manage to convince their family for marriage. Dev and Sonakshi are of the impression that his life would get sorted post marriage. But now they have a new set of problems to deal with. Right from Sonakshi’s struggle to mingle up in a non-bengali family and Dev’s dilemma to convince his possessive mother, they have to face it all. And to add up to their woes, Dev’s sister Neha has come back to their house.
Neha, who married her love Ranveer few months ago, cannot adjust in his middle-class family. She is finding it difficult to handle her expenses with her husband’s meagre income and hence decided to end ties with him. Sonakshi tries to sort problems in Neha’s life but is always proved wrong. All her attempts to reconcile Neha with Ranveer has backfired. Hence Ishwari and Dev ask her to stay away from her life as Sonakshi is not so close to Neha. Sonakshi doesn’t know that Neha is unapproachable and inconvincible. Ishwari considers herself responsible for Neha’s troubled marriage. She feels bad that her daughter is upset and in a big problem today. She is happy that Neha has taken a good decision for herself but at the same time disheartened that her married life couldn’t blossom as expected.
Dev also considers Ranveer at fault for not keeping Neha happy. He rudely approached him to accept Neha and her demands but Ranveer refuses to give in to his demands. Later, Ranveer comes to Ishwari villa to inform them that Neha has sent him a divorce notice. While Sonakshi was trying to make amends to bring Neha and Ranveer together, their problem have reached another level altogether. Ranveer humiliates Dev and his family for their double standards and it instigates Dev further. After Diwali, Dev notices that Ranveer has sent a court notice for Neha. He has slammed her with mental harassment charges and has also accused her of trying to separate him from his family. Everyone is shocked and wonders how to tackle this matter. Ishwari is spending sleepless nights thinking about her daughter’s future and Sonakshi tries to calm her down. She asks Ishwari to sort the level on personal matter instead of going to the court room. Later they find out from Ranveer’s bhabhi that Dev has got him fired from job. This news comes as another blow for Ishwari and Sonakshi. When Sonakshi confronts Dev about his decision, he says whoever tries to trouble his family will pay in a similar way. She thinks that Sonakshi is not happy with her staying here which is why she wants her to go back to Ranveer. Neha is upset that everyone in the family is upset because of her and decides to end her life. She tries to commit suicide to save her family from any kind of problems. Will Dev and family save Neha?
