In Kuch Rang Pyar Ke Aise Bhi 8 March 2017 episode, Baldev comes in the kitchen and asks Ishwari (Supriya Pilgaonkar) why is she so upset. Ishwari tells Baldev that everything is in front of his eyes. He saw how Suhana refused to eat from her hands and laments how Sonakshi (Erica Fernandes) has brought Suhana up. She shares with Baldev her feelings of how she expected that her grandchild would throw tantrums so that she would get an opportunity to pamper her but Sonakshi has made Suhana such that she doesn’t understand that idea. She expresses her displeasure of how Suhana has lost her childhood because of Sonakshi. Ishwari tells Baldev that she would make sure that Suhana lives like a child free from the burden of being a big and mature girl. Suhana and Golu decide to play blindfold. Dev (Shaheer Sheikh) asks them to be careful and not to run. While playing Suhana runs to catch Golu and bumps into a table and gets hurt. Dev and Ishwari come running and Ishwari asks Golu not play that game again. Dev tells Ishwari why wouldn’t they play the game and that Suhana is a strong girl. He applies antiseptic on her wound and realizes that he has to drop her back.
Sourabh gets angry that Ronita has told everything to her mother and thatshe lied to him. Sonkashi come and makes him understand that he is making the same mistake that Dev made. She asks Sourabh to talk to Ronita and then come to conclusions. Ronita’s mother comes to meet Bijoy and Asha. She tells them that she overheard Sourabh and Ronita’s conversation and has come to talk to Sonakshi about her relationship with Dev. Sonakshi politely tells her that it is her personal matter and assures her that it wouldn’t affect Sourabh and Ronita’s relationship. Ronita’s mother still gives her unsolicited advice that Suhana would need care of both her parents. She leaves after saying this.
Sonakshi recalls how she had to take care of Suhana alone and how badly she needed Dev then, but he wasn’t there. Later, she paces up and down in the hall waiting for Suhana. Asha asks her to sit down and calm down and tells her that Suhana would be back soon. Dev gets Suhana home. Sonakshi tells her that she missed her, Suhana reciprocates the feeling. Sonakshi sees Suhana’s wound and starts scolding Dev. She tells Dev that she would not allow to let Suhana go with from now. Dev doesn’t say anything, but Asha asks Sonakshi to stop being so harsh on Dev. Suhana clarifies that it was her mistake and not Dev’s. Dev says bye to Suhana and leaves.
Dev comes back home where DK is trying to clean the house. Dev asks him to let the house be that way so that he can feel Suhana’s presence. He thinks to himself that it would be so good if Suhana would live with him and always be in front of his eyes, so that he wouldn’t have to take Sonakshi’s permission.
Next morning, Suhana and Golu reach school and see a poster on the school notice board. They both read it. The poster is about the school summer camp which is compulsory for all the kids and requires a guardian’s to accompany them. They both get upset. Golu says that his parents wouldn’t go with him and asks Suhana why is she so sad, as her mother would happily come with her. Suhana says that if she would tell her mother, she would definitely come but she doesn’t want her to leave her important work. Suddenly Dev comes and tells them that he would go with them and asks them to get the forms. He receives a call from his office that he has to immediately go to Australia to sign an important deal. Dev asks his secretary to postpone the appointment and if the other party disagrees, he asks his secretary to cancel the deal. Suhana overhears Dev’s conversation and feels happy that Dev has done this only for her.
