Dev (Shaheer Sheikh) and Sonakshi (Erica Fernandes) haven’t spent a single day in peace ever since they got married in Kuch Rang Pyar Ke Aise Bhi. The poor couple is struggling to have some time for each other amid the never-ending family problems. Sonakshi, despite belonging to a Bengali family, is trying to get along with the customs and traditions of Dev’s family. But it looks like all her attempts fail to make any impact and Ishwari has still not accepted her as a part of the family. To add up to her woes, Dev’s sister Neha has arrived at Ishwari Villa after she couldn’t adjust with Ranveer’s family. Hence, she decided to part ways with her husband.
Neha’s arrival has brought a new set of problems for Dev and Sonakshi. Dev and Ishwari are extremely possessive about Neha and would go to any extent to keep her happy. Even if that means ruining her life, the two won’t think for a second before taking any crucial decision. Neha has sent divorce notice to Ranveer without informing anyone and Dev and Ishwari stand by her decision. Sonakshi, on the other hand, thinks practically and believes that divorce is not a solution and they must make efforts to unite them. She tried quite a few times and her efforts just failed to bring the right results.
Dev and Ishwari want Sonakshi to stay out of Neha’s life as she doesn’t know her well. Neha also hates Sonakshi’s interference in her life and thinks that her bhabi wants to send her back to hell. Amid this hostile situation, Sonakshi and Dev fight quite often. Dev doesn’t like to talk, consult of discuss any of his family matters with Sonakshi and this hurts her a lot. Every time, Sonakshi offers a suggestion Dev asks her to not get involved in these matters. Although, Dev stands for Sonakshi in front of his family whenever they point fingers at her, he doesn’t tolerate her interference in issues related to his mother and sister. Dev cancelled his honeymoon plans after Ishwari made him guilty for going abroad while his sister is going through a rough patch. But Neha creates a scene after she realises that the couple cancelled their Paris trip plan because of her. Radha Rani keeps fueling the matter and makes sure that Sonakshi is always in a bad light. Upset with all the issues in the house and Dev’s hostile behaviour towards her, Sonakshi decides to go to her parents place for a few days. She wants Dev to solve all his family matters in her absence since he dislikes their interference in their personal matters. But Dev becomes upset in his wife’s absence and decides to bring her back the very next day. Neha gets jealous of Dev and Sonakshi’s happy marriage and this adds up to new problems for them. Ishwari is also insecure to see Dev getting close to Sonakshi and her family. Will the two ladies create more problems for the couple? Will this create more rift in Sonakshi and Dev’s marriage?
