Star Plus show, Ishqbaaz, is one of the most loved telly shows of the small screen. The love-hate saga immediately clicked with the audience and became an instant hit. Ishqbaaz has a huge fan following and so do their lead actors Nakuul Mehta (Shivaay), Surbhi Chandna (Anika), Leenesh Mattoo (Rudra) and Kunal Jaisingh (Omkara). The innumerable fan pages of the shows and these actors on social media testify fan’s love for these actors. Now the makers have launched a spin off version of Ishqbaaz, Dil Bole Oberoi, which is equally popular as the original version.
Dil Bole Oberoi is going to be an out-and-out love story touting around the lives of Rudra and Omkara in specific. Anika and Shivaay’s story will take back seat in this spin off version of the show and the younger Oberoi brother will take charge this time. However, within a week of going on air, Dil Bole Oberoi has recorded steep rise in TRPs, which is a good thing. Moreover, this is the first time that a telly show has got a spin off series. Kunal Jaisingh who is seen as Omkara in the film has talked about the makers decision to start Dil Bole Oberoi. He was quoted by Asian Age saying, “Viewers have always wanted to watch more of the Oberois. We couldn’t show the parallel tracks because of the time crunch. Through Dil Boley Oberoi, our attempt is to highlight Omkara’s journey as he now in a new phase in his life. He also reveals how Ishqbaaz and Dil Boley Oberoi is different, “The three Oberoi brothers have their own share of trials and tribulations.
