‘Kyun Maange Maafi?’: Amid threats from Lawrence Bishnoi, Salim Khan says Salman Khan won’t apologise as he never killed blackbuck

Salim Khan believes his son Salman Khan can't kill a blackbuck, leaving him with no reason to apologies to the Bishnoi community.

Veteran lyricist Salim Khan has addressed the infamous blackbuck incident involving his son, actor Salman Khan. Speaking to a news portal, Salim emphasised Salman’s love for animals. He believes his son can’t kill a blackbuck, leaving him with no reason to apologies to the Bishnoi community. Over the past few year, Salman Khan has received an increasingly number of death threats; the situation has gotten worse, especially in the wake of Baba Siddique’s assassination.

‘Salman Khan Can’t Kill a Blackbuck’: Salim Khan

Speaking to ABP news, Salim Khan expressed his disbelief that his son could kill a blackbuck. Khan Said, “Salman Khan jaanwaro se bohut pyaar karta hai. Uske paas ek kutta tha, jabtak woh zinda tha tab tak use acche se rakha. Aur jab woh bimaar hua aur mara hai toh Salman roya. Maine usse pucha ki kisne kiya. Toh bola ki, ‘Main toh tha bhi nahi’. Woh mujhse jhooth nahi bolega. Usko nahi hai shaukh jaanwaro ko maarne ka. Jaanwaro se mohabbat karta hai woh (Salman Khan loves animals. He had a dog whom he loved and treated well. When he fell ill and died, Salman cried. I asked him (about the blackbuck incident) who had done it? He said, ‘I wasn’t even there.’ he won’t lie to me. He doesn’t fancy killing animals. he loves animals).” He also said that his family has never used a gun.

Salim Khan was further asked whether his son should apologies to the Bishnoi community by visiting their biggest temple in Rajasthan. He said, “Yeh accept karna hai ki, ‘Maine mara hai’. Mara hi nahi hai. Maine kisi jaanwar ko nahi mara, Salman ne kisi jaanwar ko nahi mara. Humne kabhi kisi cockroach ko bhi nahi mara hai. Hum inn cheezo mein vishwas nahi karte (Doing this makes him accept, ‘I’ve done it’. He hasn’t killed, I haven’t killed any animal, nor has Salman. We have never even killed a cockroach. We don’t believe in these).”

In the light of the threats, it has been said that Salman who earlier dropped shooting for Bigg Boss 18, has now resumed back to work under heightened security. The entire crew is required to stay on-site until the filming wraps up, while over 60 guards are stationed to monitor the area. Salman Khan is under the protection of whole Y-plus security, involving armed police escort at all times.
