A bad script, lousy director and crummy debutants, is all you need to come up with a movie like this. Bollywood is a hub of romantic-comedies and it’s not easy to master in it. Kunal Kohli, Imtiaz Ali, and Ayan Mukherjee are some aces of this genre. Debutant director, Arif Ali, has tried to copy his master-brother Imtiaz Ali and has failed awkwardly. If anyone wants to see an example of ‘how one can serve stinky food in a golden plate’, can surely go and watch this movie.

The story revolves around two best friends Dinesh a.k.a. Dino and Karishma a.k.a. Kay (Can someone please explain to the rookies that one can’t act cool, if you have cool names, you need to study acting for that.) As seen in almost every romantic-comedy, best friends grow into lovers and the story commences. But, our director has something else in store for us. Initially the BFF’s don’t love each other, then they do and vice versa (All this happens until the viewers exasperates and leave the theater.) In drunken state, the lovebirds decide to runoff from their respective families and live happily ever after. Leaving the entire country, they land at a Naxalite area (Only a mundane person can execute this thought.) This elopement trails a chain of dumb-ass events that just added length to the movie instead of interest. If you take ‘Highway’ mix it up with ‘Jab we met’ and finally add ‘Bobby’ to it, you will get a low-cost romantic comedy like ‘Lekar Hum Deewana Dil’.

Acting of the debutants Armaan Jain and Deeksha Seth were as poor as the leads of RGV Ki Aag. Director Arif Ali left no stone unturned to make the movie worse. Even maestro A.R Rahman’s music got affected by the story, it was mediocre. Gazing at grazing goats will certainly be more entertaining than to watch this movie.
