The makers of Lokah Chapter 1: Chandra have dropped the announcement video of the second part featuring Dulquer Salmaan and Tovino Thomas as they discuss about a bigger upcoming threat.

Lokah: Chapter 1 ‑ Chandra has taken the Malayalam film industry by storm. Directed by Dominic Arun, the first film introduced a new kind of superhero universe built on local myth, folklore, and strong visual appeal. After its success, with audiences lauding its action, design, and storytelling, Lokah Chapter 2 has officially been announced. The announcement came with what fans loved most, playful banter between Dulquer Salmaan and Tovino Thomas, hinting at new dynamics, threat and more characters stepping into the spotlight.

What does the announcement video tell?

The video opens with conversation between Tovino Thomas’ Michael and Dulquer Salmaan’s Charlie, sharing toddy at their safehouse. Michael jokingly scolds Charlie for not staying in touch, saying he could at least check in once every few decades. Charlie, in his usual sarcastic tone, replies that Michael becomes too dull when he drinks. Michael counters, saying toddy is a “basic treat” not just for him, but for his 389 alcoholic chathan (goblin) brothers.

Michael, not giving up, says, “Aren’t we all family, bro?” As Charlie prepares to walk away, Michael takes one final jab, saying, “You’ll come… and if not, the chathans will drag you in.” The teaser ends with visuals of mystic symbols symbolizing goblins, silhouettes of supernatural powers awakening, and the film’s new logotype appearing on screen.
