Sanjay Dutt, who made a name for himself in the industry, is among those actors who are loved for their versatility. Dutt has been in the industry since 1981 and has been a part of several hit films like Lage Raho Munnabhai, KGF Chapter 2, Agneepath, Saajan, and more. However, do you know that the actor has also been a part of a bunch of flop films? One among those films was a disaster in Sanjay’s Bollywood journey. The movie did not have any storyline, was unbearable to watch as per fans, and could not recover its making cost.

Sanjay Dutt’s biggest flop film, which we are talking about, is Chatur Singh Two Star. Helmed by Ajay Chandok, the action comedy featured Sanjay Dutt in the titular character. In the film, Sanjay’s character is of a bumbling cop who desired to be a top detective in the country.

Chatur Singh Two Star is a remake of the Hollywood film The Pink Panther, released in 2006. Pink Panther is a well-known cartoon character, and its animated series is also quite popular.

Do you know that Chatur Singh Two Star witnessed years of delay? The movie was announced in 2007. A year later, Chatur Singh Two Star went on floors. Though the movie was completed in a year, it wasn’t getting released on the big screen and faced delays. Later, in 2011, the movie got a green signal for the release and made it to the big screens on August 9, 2011.

Chatur Singh Two Star was made on a budget of Rs 25 crore. However, because of no substantial storyline, the movie only collected Rs 3.26 crore at the box office. According to reports, fans criticized the film for its poor photography, lame dialogues, and poor adaptation of the character.

Apart from Sanjay Dutt, the movie also featured Ameesha Patel and Suresh Menon in key roles.
