Madgaon Express Box Office Collection Day 3: Madgaon Express had a significant increase in revenue on its second day of release, earning Rs 2.75 crore on Saturday, following its first-day collection of Rs 1.5 crore. Kunal Kemmu‘s directorial debut brought in an additional Rs 2.85 crore on Sunday, March 24, the third day of its release, bringing its first weekend’s revenue to Rs 7.10 crore, according to the entertainment tracking website Sacnilk. The comedy-drama film debuted on March 22 and stars Prateek Gandhi, Divyendu Sharma, and Avinash Tiwari Tiwari in the key roles. Despite having a modest opening weekend, Madgaon Express saw improvement on Days two and three.

Madgaon Express vs Swatantrya Veer Savarkar Box Office Report

Randeep Hooda’s directorial debut, Swatantrya Veer Savarkar, which also debuted in theatres on Friday, outperformed Kunal Kemmu’s first film at the box office. The historical biographical movie, which stars Hooda in the lead role, is based on the life of Vinayak Damodar Savarkar, one of India’s most contentious revolutionaries. Swatantra Veer Savarkar has so far brought in a net amount of Rs 5.90 crore in India.

The Excel Entertainment film made an astounding Rs 2.85 crore on Sunday, bringing its total earnings to Rs 7.10 crore net in India after just three days of its theatrical debut, according to reports from Sacnilk.com.  The Madgaon Express saw a spike in weekend receipts despite having a modest start on its premiere day of March 22. The film is anticipated to continue its excellent run because of Holi on Monday.

According to media sources, Rs 20 crore was used to make both, Randeep Hooda and Kunal Kemmu’s directorial projects.
