On the occasion of Maha Shivratri, devotees thronged the temples to offer their prayers to Lord Shiva. Bollywood fraternity even wished their fans on the holy occasion and celebrated the festival by performing Shiv puja. Actor Hrithik Roshan along with his ex-wife Sussanne Khan, sons Hrehaan and Hridaan, father Rakesh Roshan, mother Pinky sister Sunaina visited the Shiv temple, situated in Panvel, to offer their prayers on an auspicious day. Despite having separated, Hrithik and Sussanne remain the best of friends, and they refrain from citing the reason for their separation, this is something they remain quite vocal about. Talking about his current relationship with Sussane, Hrithik had said in an earlier interview: “We have always maintained peace. We are wonderful parents to our kids and we are friends. I don’t think I can ever have any other equation with a friend or family or someone who is not peaceful. Talking about Mahashivratri, it is believed that on this day Lord Shiva got married to Goddess Parvati and on the same night he performed the Tandava dance. On this day, devotees of Lord Shiva chant prayers, conduct special pooja rituals and observe fast. A fast is observed for the full day and devotees offer prasad to the deity. A holy drink, panchamrit, is also made during pooja to offer to Lord Shiva.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Hrithik was last seen in War and might be in talks for Satte Pe Satta remake by Farah Khan and Rohit Shetty as per the reports.
