In the wake of a burst in COVID-19 cases globally, Bollywood actor Malaika Arora on Monday shared a picture where she practices social distancing and lets the world know about the ways to deal with difficult situations like that of a pandemic outbreak. Recently, Malaika took to her Instagram handle to share an adorable picture with her pet dog Casper. The Central Government on Saturday decided to treat the deadly virus as a “notified disaster”. As of now, the total cases of coronavirus reported in India is 110, according to the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare. Meanwhile, the global pandemic has badly hit Bollywood and the industry now stands to lose around Rs 800 crore due to delay in releases and shooting schedule. Film events, awards shows and upcoming films such as Akshay Kumar’s Sooryavanshi and YRF’s Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar have postponed their release indefinitely in the wake of the health crisis.

The state governments of Delhi, Mumbai, Tamil Nadu, Goa, Gujarat, Assam, Lucknow, Punjab, Kerala and UT of J&K have ordered a shutdown of theatres and malls till March 31.
