Malayalam actor Dileep and his wife Kavya Madhavan are all set to welcome their first child. According to reports, Kavya is pregnant and the couple will soon become parents. A family member close to the couple was quoted as saying in a leading daily, “All the family members are delighted with this news. Dileep’s daughter Meenakshi will have a sibling now. Kavya and Dileep are very happy about it.”

Dileep and Kavya got married in 2016. This is Dileep’s second marriage after he parted ways from his first wife and actor Manju Warrier. Dileep has a daughter from his first wife Manju and she is currently living with the actor.

Dileep was into headlines after the Association of Malayalam Movie Artists (AMMA) decided to reinstate him. The association’s decision took the industry by storm and received flak from several actors. As reported, actress Rima Kallingal, Remya Nambeesan, Geethu Mohandas has quit AMMA following after the decision. Dileep was also arrested last year by Kerala police for hatching a plan to kidnap and molest the Malayalam actress. He was in Aluva jail for almost three months before coming out on bail. He is still battling the case in Kerala High Court.

On the professional front, Dileep was last seen in the period drama film Kammara Sambhavan opposite Tamil actor Siddharth.
