Dileep is a popular actor not just in south but he has huge fan base across the country. He has done various kinds of roles and that too with sheer brilliance. But when the news flashed that he is involved in the popular Malayalam actress abduction and molestation case, people were shocked. Actress Shobana is one such person from the Mollywood industry who stays away from all media attention. She has rarely commented on any such kind of issues or any person. But during an interview with a Tamil magazine, the veteran actress was asked about the popular Malayalam actress’ attack case in which Dileep is involved.

It was hardly two months ago when rumours did rounds that Shobana is getting married. However there was no confirmation to it and neither did the actress mention anything. She remained tight-lipped about the entire scenario because this wasn’t the first time that the gossipmongers were discussing things related to her personal life. Now after that she has once again topped headlines for her views on superstar Dileep.

As per a report in Asianet Newsable, in an interview to a Tamil magazine Shobana was asked about the Malayalam actress attack case that left Mollywood in a state of shock. Though she didn’t comment about the incident, she did speak on how she met Dileep and what kind of a person he is. Shobana said that she first met Dileep during the shoot of ‘Kaliyoonjal’ in the year 1997. Shobana also revealed Dileep was not just a soft-spoken person but also an entertaining person. Apparently, he entertained everyone on the sets with his mimicry talent and the people had only positive things to tell about him.

About the horrifying incident that happened in February this year Shobana was quoted saying as, “Malayalam film industry has been perhaps the only industry where people work without any bias. As an actress, we always had the notion that this was the best and secure place to work. I don’t know about the present condition but it’s saddening to hear that there are rifts in this film industry which had always been like a family.”
