The makers of Amaran hosted a grand pre-release event in Chennai on Friday. Alongside the film’s lead stars, Sivakarthikeyan and Sai Pallavi, renowned filmmakers Lokesh Kanagaraj and Mani Ratnam also attended the event. During the gathering, Mani Ratnam expressed his desire to work with Sai Pallavi and wish to collaborate with her. Speaking on the stage, the Ponniyin Selvan director said “I am a very big fan of you; I hope I will work with you one day.”

Meanwhile, Amaran is a biographical action war film, helmed by Rajkumar Periasamy. The project explores the life of martyred soldier Mukund Varadarajan. Apart from Sivakarthikeyan and Sai Pallavi, Amaran will feature Bhuvan Arora, Gaurav Venkatesh and Rahul Bose in pivotal roles. It will be released on October 31.
