Manikarnika: Kangana Ranaut Looks Royal as Rani Laxmibai, Teaser to Release on Gandhi Jayanti
Manikarnika is all set to hit the screens on January 25.
Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi featuring actress Kangana Ranaut, has been in the limelight for reasons for than one. It is one of the most anticipated films of the year and the makers have finally revealed the teaser release date of the movie. Yes, the teaser of Manikarnika will be out on October 2, 2018, Gandhi Jayanti.
Along with the announcement, a new picture of the actress as Rani Laxmibai has also been shared in which she can be seen wearing a red saree with heavy jewellery. Needless to say, she looks perfect as a warrior princess.
The project is helmed by National Award Winner Krish Jagarlamudi. However, some of the portions were directed by Kangana herself.

The actress raised eyebrows with her statements when Sonu Sood left the movie. She stated that the actor backed out because she was helming the reshoots and patchwork. Kangana said, “He vehemently denied to work under a woman director, which is kind of amusing because Sonu is a dear friend.”
Sonu lashed out at the actress for making the entire issue about male chauvinism.
Manikarnika is all set to hit the screens on January 25 and will fight the box office battle with Hrithik Roshan’s Super 30.
