Martin, the most anticipated pan-Indian Kannada film, starring Dhruva Sarja and directed by AP Arjun, is becoming one of the year’s most disastrous releases. Arjun Sarja, an actor known as Action King, portrays both Martin/Rhino and Arjun Saxena in the movie. Martin was hailed as the next Kannada mega-action star, and the film’s producers attempted to create a film that was comparable to KGF. The action set pieces, Arjun Sarja’s fierce persona, and the editing style all seem like a cheesy knockoff of Yash’s smash hit. Ravi Basrur, the man behind the thumping BGM of KGF, composed the music for Martin.

It has had trouble at the box office despite having a large budget of almost 100 crores, especially in the Hindi version, which debuted with just Rs 20 lakhs. It is estimated that the Hindi version will make about Rs 1 crore in lifetime sales, which is a huge underperformance. Just over Rs 6 crores was the film’s initial gross in India (all languages), and it urgently needed a significant increase in box office receipts to get traction.

The 2024 film Adipurush disappointed spectators who were expecting the Prabhas and Kriti Sanon film because of its poor visual effects, poor graphics, bad dialogue, and unimpressive plot. Given Vidyut Jammwal’s involvement in the action genre, viewers anticipated heart-pounding, fast-paced action scenes in Crakk. The movie, however, was completely ruined by the awful, cringe-worthy dialogue. The action extravaganza starring Tiger Shroff and Akshay Kumar, Bade Miyan Chote Miyan, could not live up to the anticipation. In India, the movie had the lowest opening total of any recent big-budget, tentpole, star-studded spectacle films that capitalized on the hyper-nationalism that is currently rife in the nation. The next in the line was Martin, which came out on October 11, 2024. The movie got a lot of bad reviews when it first came out. The film received negative reviews from critics for its music, storyline, and acting. The action-thriller is regarded by several critics as the worst movie of 2024.
