Karan is all set to turn a year older tomorrow. Born on February 23, 1982, in New Delhi to a Sikh Punjabi family, Karan, in his early days, moved to Saudi Arabia, where he completed his schooling. Later, Grover pursued a degree in hotel management from the Institute of Hotel Management (IHM), Mumbai. After completing his graduation, Karan worked as a marketing executive at Sheraton Hotel in Oman.
After returning to India, Karan wanted to try his luck in modeling and hence started his career as a model. This helped Karan land his first big gig, which was also his debut in the MTV India show Kitni Mast Hai Zindagi in 2004.
After his debut, Karan’s luck shined, and the actor went on to deliver several hit serials as the lead actor. These serials include Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2, Dill Mill Gayye, and Qubool Hai, among others, in the last two decades. He also featured in some reality shows such as Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 3, Nach Baliye 3, and Khatron Ke Khiladi 3.
In 2008, Karan made his Bollywood debut with the film Bhram. In the film, Grover had a brief role. His debut film as a lead actor was Alone, released in 2015, with Bipasha Basu as the leading lady.
During the shoot of the film, Karan and Bipasha fell in love with each other and decided to tie the knot. They got married in 2016 and were blessed with a baby girl. This was Karan’s second marriage. Before this, he was married to Jennifer Winget. Before Jennifer, Karan was married to Shraddha Nigam.
After nine years, Karan made his Bollywood comeback with Fighter. The movie featured Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone in the leading roles. The film was a semi-hit and earned Rs 358 crore at the box office.
