Bollywood has produced many child actors who won hearts but later faded from the limelight. One such face is Parzaan Dastur, fondly remembered as the “silent Sardar kid” from the 1998 blockbuster Kuch Kuch Hota Hai. Even though he barely had lines, his cuteness and memorable presence stood out in the Shah Rukh Khan, Kajol, and Rani Mukerji starrer.
Parzaan was just six years old when he appeared in the film, yet audiences continue to recognise him instantly. Interestingly, his facial features have barely changed over the years, making him easy to identify even today.
Parzaan’s journey in Bollywood didn’t end with just one iconic film. He went on to make cameo appearances in several notable projects. He was seen in Hrithik Roshan and Ameesha Patel’s Kaho Naa… Pyaar Hai (2000), and also appeared in Shah Rukh Khan’s Mohabbatein.
His filmography includes titles like Zubeidaa, Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham, Kehta Hai Dil Baar Baar, Hum Tum, Parzania, Sikandar, and Break Ke Baad. In 2017, Parzaan even took on a different role behind the camera, writing the film Pocket Mummy, in which he also acted.

For the past few years, Parzaan has been away from mainstream films. His last appearance was in 2017, and since then, he has shifted focus to other creative avenues. He has worked on short films and podcasts, often sharing snippets of his work and personal life with fans on social media.
In 2021, Parzaan married Delna Shroff, and today, at 33, he seems to be enjoying family life while staying connected to his creative passions. Though away from the big screen, his occasional interviews and social media updates keep his admirers updated about his life.
