Born to Jogamaya Shukla, India’s first female tabla player, and Shatrughan Shukla, a vocalist, Saurabh Shukla started his career with theatre. Over the years, he performed in several plays. His biggest break came when he co-wrote the script for Ram Gopal Varma’s 1998 cult classic Satya and played the role of gangster Kallu Mama.

Over the years, the actor delivered several hit films, including Taal, Baadshah, Aarakshan, Gunday, Nayak, Barfi, Kick, OMG, and PK. Shukla proved his versatility by taking on diverse roles.
