People often think that if an actor’s father is a big director or actor, then his son’s success is guaranteed. However, that is not always the case. Sometimes, despite having a strong acting background, actors fail to impress the audience. Today, we will talk about one such case. The actor in discussion is someone whose father was a big name in the industry. However, his son could not achieve great success in Bollywood.

During his career span, the actor delivered several flop films— as many as 19. He managed to deliver only one hit. If you are wondering who we are talking about, then the actor in discussion is Fardeen Khan. Son of the late Bollywood actor Feroz Khan, Fardeen made his debut with Prem Aggan. However, the film was a huge flop and could not perform well at the box office. It was Feroz Khan who launched his son, but the movie failed to make any impact on the audience. Fardeen Khan revealed in an interview that his father used to take loans to make films grand.

After a flop debut, Fardeen tried his luck with 15 more films. Sadly, all of them turned out to be huge failures. When Fardeen’s career was on the verge of sinking, it was his next film, Heyy Babyy, that saved him. The actor shared the screen with Akshay Kumar, Riteish Deshmukh, Vidya Balan, Anupam Kher, and Boman Irani. The movie was a huge hit and earned Rs 83 crore worldwide.

After delivering back-to-back flops, Fardeen decided to take a break from acting and stayed away from the film industry for 14 years. He was last seen in Dulha Mil Gaya, which was released in 2010, before making a superhit comeback with Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar, where he essayed the role of Wali Mohammed, a nawab. The series was helmed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali.
