Her brother started working at a young age to support them, and her mother gave up everything, including her relatives in Delhi, to focus on raising Nia and her brother. I would stand outside the studio and say, ‘Until I get paid, I won’t work.’ It might have seemed childish, but that was the only way I could get my payment. Many of us have been made to beg, cry, and plead for our money.”

Apart from her success on Eastern Eye’s list, Nia also ranked 2nd in The Times Most Desirable Women on TV list in 2020. Despite all the challenges, she has carved a successful place for herself in the industry.
