Known for her striking presence on reality shows and her diverse roles in television shows, this actor has managed to carve a niche for herself with both her acting talent and her strong personality. She became a household name after her stint on a popular reality show, where her relationships and strong opinions garnered significant attention. Despite being offered a range of roles, she has always been selective in choosing her projects. The actress is Pavitra Punia.
Pavitra Punia, known for her stint in Bigg Boss 14, has gained immense fame over the years, especially for her relationship with fellow contestant, Eijaz Khan. Apart from her reality television fame, Pavitra Punia has made notable appearances in shows like Yeh Hai Mohabbatein and Baalveer, where she displayed her acting talent in diverse roles. Despite her growing fan base and successful career, the actor has chosen to be selective about the kind of work she takes up.
In a recent interview with Tele Masala, she revealed that she rejected several offers last year due to discomfort with certain scenes and costumes. She said, “I have an objection to doing some scenes. If I had to give these scenes, I would have become famous by now. I didn’t have to give them, so I have left a lot of work. Then suddenly they added intimacy to that scene, so I said it won’t be possible.”
For her, the core of her career is not just about fame but about maintaining her integrity. She raised an important question, asking, “Can you watch such scenes with your family? Why should I do something that has to be forwarded? I want people to see my work in the right perspective.”
Pavitra Punia started her career with MTV’s Splitsvilla 3, and made her acting debut with the show Geet – Hui Sabse Parayi. In 2020, she entered the Bigg Boss Season 14 house as a contestant. Later, she dated her fellow contestant, Eijaz Khan and was also engaged in 2022. However, they parted ways in 2024.
