Neena Gupta is one of the known actresses in Bollywood. Throughout her career, Gupta has given many hit films such as Badhaai Ho, Goodbye, Woh Chokri, Mulk, and more. While the actress gained headlines for her work, her personal life always remained a topic of discussion among fans. Neena was in an affair with famous cricketer Vivian Richards when she got pregnant. What followed next was a complete roller coaster ride for the actress. However, during her tough time, Neena’s closest friend and late actor-director Satish Kaushik stood with her.

Recently, a throwback video of Neena is going viral where she recalled a moment from 1989, when she disclosed her pregnancy to Satish and how he helped her. In the clip, the actress can be seen saying, “When I was pregnant, I was very worried because my pregnancy was very messy. It was very controversial, so he came to my house. So, I was very worried and I was crying, I said, ‘I don’t know what would happen next.’ Satish said, ‘Nancy, don’t worry. If your child is dark, then I’ll tell everyone it’s mine.’”

Kaushik’s supportive intention won Neena’s heart. In an old video, Kaushik also opened up about his intention to help his closest friend.

Meanwhile, Satish Kaushik passed away on March 9, 2023, after suffering a sudden heart attack. He was 66 years old. The actor is survived by his wife Shashi Kaushik and daughter Vanshika Kaushik.

Following Satish’s passing, Neena’s daughter Masaba took to her Instagram and shared an old picture of her mother with the late actor. She dropped a heartwarming caption and wrote, “Rest in peace, Kaushik uncle. You gave mom the greatest gift… Your kindness through all those years – we will miss you.”
