Sagarika tied the knot with Zaheer Khan in 2017. The duo are quite active on social media and often drop cute pictures. The two come from different religious backgrounds; despite that, they were adamant about getting married, and so they did. The couple had an interfaith marriage.
Sagarika revealed that Zaheer proposed to her during the IPL. When asked whether religion was ever a topic of discussion between their families, the actress said, “No, not really. I think, like I said, it was more about other people around us who were making that conversation. But I think my parents are very progressive.”
In an interview, Sagarika reflected on the first time Zaheer met her father. She said, “Once Zaheer met my dad, it was the most beautiful relationship… Even with my mother, I think my mother loves him more than she loves me.”
