This actress who won the title of Miss Universe Sri Lanka in 2006, made her Bollywood debut with the 2009 fantasy comedy Aladin. She later starred in successful films like Murder 2, Housefull 2, Race 2, and Kick, becoming one of the most popular actresses in the industry. Known for her glamorous image and international appeal, she has also made some unique luxury investments. One of the most remarkable is her private island in Sri Lanka.

Located along the southern coast, the four-acre island was reportedly purchased by her in 2012 for around Rs 3.5 crore. Interestingly, the island is close to another private island owned by former Sri Lankan cricket captain Kumar Sangakkara, making it a prime spot for luxury real estate. She plans to build a villa on the island, turning it into her personal retreat. This is an unusual investment in Bollywood, where most celebrities prefer luxury apartments and expensive cars.

According to CA Knowledge, her net worth is estimated to be around Rs 116 crore ($14 million), with an annual income exceeding Rs 15 crore. You must have guessed by now whom are we talking about. She is Jacqueline Fernandez.

Jacqueline Fernandez, who last delivered a hit with Judwaa 2 in 2017, has faced a series of box office failures over the past eight years. Some of her films that didn’t perform well include Drive, Radhe, Bhoot Police, Bachchhan Paandey, Attack, Ram Setu, Cirkus, and Fateh. Even earlier in her career, she was part of flops like Roy, Brothers, and Jaane Kahan Se Aayi Hai.

Now, Jacqueline is gearing up for her next big release, Housefull 5, where she will reunite with Akshay Kumar, Abhishek Bachchan, Riteish Deshmukh, Dino Morea, Fardeen Khan, Sonam Bajwa, Chunky Panday, and Shreyas Talpade. Directed by Tarun Mansukhani, the latest installment of the popular Housefull franchise is set to hit theaters on June 6, 2025.
