Neena Gupta’s husband, Vivek Mehra, is a chartered accountant (CA) who lives in Delhi. He met Neena on a flight, and the friendship between the two gradually turned into love. Although Vivek was already married and was the father of two children, Neena accepted the relationship and married Vivek in a private ceremony in the US in 2008. Even after Neena and Vivek got married, they lived in different cities, Neena in Mumbai and Vivek in Delhi. However, during the lockdown due to the COVID-19 pandemic, they were able to spend time together for the first time. Sharing this experience, Neena said that it was a new beginning for them, in which they understood each other better.

What is the education qualification of Vivek Mehra?

Vivek Mehra was born in Delhi in 1961. For his schooling, he went to Himachal Pradesh and studied at Lawrence School, Sanawar. Later, he returned to Delhi for college and attended Shri Ram College of Commerce (SRCC) under Delhi University. He didn’t stop there; he went on to complete his Chartered Accountancy from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, building a solid foundation for his future in the finance world.

Vivek Mehra started as Managing Partner at P.R. Mehra & Co. in Delhi. From there, he moved to PwC India. He led the M&A tax practice and later became a member of the PwC governing board. After his time at PwC, Vivek worked as an independent director with some of India’s big names like DLF, Zee Entertainment, HT Media, Hero Future Energies and Chambal Fertilisers. He is also the founder of Mindshare, a media agency network.
