Siddharth Chopra, Priyanka Chopra’s brother recently got married to Neelam Upadhyaya, an actress who primarily works in Tamil and Telugu films. The couple tied the knot in an intimate ceremony attended by their family members and close friends in Mumbai on February 7, 2025.
According to reports, Siddharth was previously engaged to Ishita Kumar in 2019. Their marriage was also fixed. However, it was reported that Siddharth Chopra and Ishita Kumar’s wedding was postponed due to unknown reasons. Later, their wedding was called off and they unfollowed each other on social media. Following the cancellation of the wedding, Siddharth and Priyanka Chopra’s mother, Madhu Chopra, reportedly stated that her son is not yet ready for marriage.
Previously, before getting engaged to Ishita, Siddharth Chopra was in relationship with Kanika Mathur, and the duo were very much in love. Their families had even made wedding arrangements for them in 2014. However, the wedding was called off once again for undisclosed reasons. Speculations arose that Siddharth cancelled the wedding by claiming that he wanted to focus on his career. According to DNA, A source close to the family shared, “Siddharth wants to focus on his career and his new venture, a pub-lounge in Pune. Postponing the wedding was a significant decision for both families. Priyanka is also currently abroad, and the wedding cannot happen without her.”
Priyanka Chopra’s brother Siddharth Chopra is a professional chef, who completed his culinary course from Les Roches International School of Hotel Management in Switzerland. The 36-year-old launched his own restaurant named The Mugshot Lounge in 2014, which ran until 2019. His wife Neelam Upadhyaya, is a well-known face in Tamil and Telugu cinema. She make her debut in 2012 with Mr 7 and quickly rose to fame with her performances in movies such as Action 3D, Unnodu Oru Naal, Om Shanthi Om, and Pandagala Vachadu.
