#MeToo: Ajay Devgn Tweets in Support of Women After Luv Ranjan is Accused of Sexual Harassment
Ajay, who was supposed to work with Luv, is not taking the matter lightly.
Actor Ajay Devgn has tweeted his support for women following the #MeToo disclosures that have been tumbling out involving various big wigs of Bollywood. Ajay’s tweet comes after director Luv Ranjan, who is known for his movies like Pyaar Ka Punchnama and Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety, was accused by an actress of sexual harassment while appearing for an audition with him.
The actress, who has not been named, had revealed that she was in her early 20s when she went to audition for a role called by casting director Vicky Sidana. She said Luv Ranjan asked her to strip so he could see if she had a suitable bikini body.
Luv has refuted the allegations, but it appears Ajay Devgn, who was supposed to work with him, is not taking the matter lightly. The latter has stated that he and his company will not stand for any wrong that is being done to any woman. Check his tweet below:
I’m disturbed by all the happenings with regards to #MeToo. My company and I believe in providing women with utmost respect and safety. If anyone has wronged even a single woman, neither ADF nor I will stand for it.

With regards to the incident that took place in 2010, the actress revealed to Mid-Day she was at Kumar Mangat’s office where the audition for a role was being held. She said that Luv Ranjan and the cinematographer were sitting in a room and calling the girls in one by one, and when one girl came back out, she was ashen and looking very uncomfortable.
The actress recalled that things took a turn for the worse when the director asked her to strip down to her bra and panties so he could see if she needed to loose weight. She said that things got blurry after that and she rushed out of the room and left the audition.
The #MeToo movement seems to be going strong in India now, after Tanushree Dutta came out with her own sexual harassment allegations against veteran actor Nana Patekar.
