Mijwan 2018 : Former Lovebirds Ranbir Kapoor And Deepika Padukone Walk Hand In Hand For Manish Malhotra – Watch Pics And Videos

Mijwan 2018 is underway and the moment we had all been waiting for is finally here. Ex-flames, Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone have finally come together as showstoppers to walk the ramp for Bollywood’s favourite designer, Manish Malhotra, who is showcasing his Summer Collection. The fabulously talented designer collaborated with Shabana Azmi ever year to organise the Mijwan fashion show. They always have a new couple every year to walk for them and this year they have our favourite pair as showstoppers and to say that we can’t contain our happiness wouldn’t be an understatement. In 2017, it was Jab Harry Met Sejal’s lead pair, Shah Rukh Khan and Anushka Sharma, who walked the ramp for Malhotra, dazzling as ever in his creation. The reel life couple has worked together in three films till date– Tamasha, Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani and Bachna Ae Haseeno and we absolutely love their on screen and off screen chemistry.

Deepika Padukone and Ranbir looked every bit the regal in Manish Malhotra’s traditional ensembles. While Deepika looked absolutely ethereal in a white lehenga choli with a long trail, floral motifs and heavy embroidery, Ranbir looked dapper as always in a monochrome ethnic attire with floral work done on it. Their chemistry made it almost impossible to take our eyes off them. However, it was their beautiful ensembles that completely stole the show and grabbed eyeballs. Kudos to Manish for designing beautiful couture outfits with such intricate and delicate embroidery and detailed work. Take a look at the pics and videos below :

Mijwan Welfare Society was started by actor Shabana Azmi to realise the dream her father Kaifi Azmi’s dreams. Walk of Mijwan is held to showcase the fashion label associated with this welfare society. The show itself was initially supposed to be held on April 9, however, it was postponed to April 19 as both Deepika and Ranbir had fallen ill. It’s sure special to see Ranbir and Deepika’s happy faces together as they walk the ramp hand in hand. They were always a hit couple and their camaraderie and chemistry creates magic on screen for their fans to fall truly, madly, deeply in love with their jodi. From being talented actors to great partners, Ranbir-Deepika’s journey is nothing short of exceptional and is truly applause worthy. At the event, Ranbir said that he is trying to be a man, who gives space to every woman, where as Deepika thanked the women of Mijwan for being an inspiration behind her philanthropic work.
