Superstar Shahrukh Khan and actor-filmmaker Farhan Akhtar were honoured at the 6th Mirchi Music Awards in Mumbai on February 27. Shahrukh won a unique award – the Mirchi Face of Romantic Songs award, while Farhan got the Royal Stag Make it Large award. Shahrukh added, “Extremely touched by all singers coming together to do this for me. It’s given me 10 years of energy to go on stronger and harder. Thanks Mirchi.”
Aashiqui 2 won most awards – seven in total – for categories including Song of the Year and Album of the Year jury awards. Chennai Express, Bhaag Milkha Bhaag and Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram-Leela were also honoured.
