Malayalam actor Mohanlal has created a storm at the Box Office with his latest release, Lucifer. The film is raking in a good moolah and has already emerged as the second-best opener at the Malayalam Box Office. Interestingly, the top Mollywood first day grosser is also a Mohanlal starrer, titled Odiyan. Also Read - Crime Branch Sends Notice to Vivek Oberoi's Wife Priyanka Alva in Sandalwood Drugs Racket

Lucifer, directed by Prithviraj Sukumaran, minted Rs 6.7 crore on Thursday and now trade sources suggest that film has collected Rs 6.5 crore on Friday, taking the two-day total of the film to Rs 13.2 crore. As per reports, day 2 saw packed theatres as Lucifer opened to good reviews. While Odiyan’s first-day collection still lies better than what Lucifer has achieved on its opening day, the latter is expected to perform better at the end of its Box Office performance. This is also highly likely since Odiyan witnessed a great dip in its collection after day 1 because of negative reviews. Lucifer, however, has generated a good response from both the audience and the critics. Therefore, its possibility of performing better than Mohanlal’s top grosser is far too high.
