Renowned singer Monali Thakur was rushed to a hospital in Dinhata, Cooch Behar, West Bengal, after facing breathing difficulties during a live performance. The incident occurred on the evening of January 21 while she was performing at the Dinhata Festival. A video from the event, which has gone viral on social media, shows Monali stopping her performance midway due to her health condition.

Apologising to the audience, she said, “I sincerely apologise to you. I am very sick today. The show was on the verge of getting cancelled.”
