Mouni Roy Will Never Ditch The Television Industry, Actress Confirms

The gorgeous Mouni Roy is a popular face in the television industry. She has done some top TV shows and today she has become a household name. Mouni is not just popular in small screen industry, but she also popular amongst the B-townies. The 31-year-old actress is gearing up for her Bollywood debut. In her first film she will be sharing screen space with Akshay Kumar in the movie titled ‘Gold’. Many must be assuming that as soon as Mouni enters the glamorous showbiz world, she may quit the television industry. Hold on folks! lLke you already read, Mouni has assured that she will never quit the small screen industry.

If you thought Mouni Roy will never turn around to the small screen industry, there is nothing as such. She will remain devoted because it is through the television industry that she rose to fame and reached the stage where she is today. In an interview with Hindustan Times, Mouni has spoken about her successful television career and whether she’ll continue to work or not after doing Bollywood movies.

When Mouni Roy was asked will she continue to work on television the actress said, “Of course. Like I said, TV has given me my life. I want to do films because I love cinema and love what I do. I want to explore what I can do in terms picking up a character and living it to the fullest in a film. But yes, TV has given me everything. I want to stick with good old soaps.” There you go! The Naagin 2 actress is quite firm about it and nothing could make us happier than this piece of information from her.
