Catching fans in a startling surprise, Super 30 star Mrunal Thakur and television hunky Kushal Tandon were seen going gaga over each other to the extent of latter even calling the diva his “soulmate”. Taking to their respective Instagram handles, the duo shared unseen pictures of their previous meets and we can’t help but smell something brewing between the two.
Kushal captioned the pictures on the photo-sharing app, “@mrunalofficial2016 Love of my life : they say ur soul mate is ur lover that’s wrong …… soul mate can be ur bestie too sullu this life and till eternity u will always be my soul mate baby (sic).” Quick to respond, Mrunal wrote an equally mushy comment that read, “Kushal So blessed to have someone who always annoys me to death and doesn’t value me even a bit still love you (sic)” and smeared it with red heart emojis. On her own handle, Mrunal captioned the pictures, “Always got your back I promise I‘ll annoy you the rest of my life (sic).”

On the professional front, Mrunal was shooting in Chandigarh for filmmaker Gowtam Tinnanuri-directorial Jersey before the shooting was halted due to coronavirus scare. Starring actors Shahid Kapoor and Mrunal Thakur in the lead, the movie also stars Pankaj Kapur. The movie went on floors on December 2, 2019 and is the official Hindi remake of Gowtam’s hit Telugu drama with the same name.
Talking about the female lead, Mumbai Mirror quoted Gowtam saying, “After Shahid came on board, I only had Mrunal in mind for the lead. I loved her performance and confidence in Super 30. She’s a perfect fit for this part in Jersey.” Jersey is set to hit the screens on August 28 this year.
Apart from this, Mrunal also has Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra-directorial Toofan opposite Farhan Akhtar.
