Munjya Box Office Collection Day 6: Munjya, an add-on to Maddock Films’ universe of horror comedies, continues to stay strong at the box office even on day 6. As per early estimates by Sacnilk, the movie has minted Rs 3.75 crore. The film, which was released on June 7, 2024, opened with decent numbers as it garnered Rs 4 crore. Now, the overall collection of Munjya stands at Rs 31.15 crore.

Munjya Day-Wise Box Office Collection

Munjya features Sharvari, Mona Singh, and Abhay Verma in the lead roles. After its release, the movie received mixed responses from the audience. Coming to the box office collection, the movie opened with decent numbers on its release and earned Rs 4 crore. On the first Saturday, Munjya witnessed a rise in revenue and earned Rs 7.25 crore. On day 3, which also happened to be a Sunday, the movie earned the maximum as it minted Rs 8 crore.

However, from Monday, the film witnessed a decline in numbers. On day 4, the movie earned Rs 4 crore, whereas on day 5, the film made Rs 4.15 crore. Now, as per early updates by Sacnilk, the movie minted Rs 3.75 crore. The total box office collection of Munjya stands at Rs 31.15 crore.

About Munjya

Filmed in Pune and the Konkan region of Maharashtra, Munjya follows the story of an eponymous mythical creature from the world of Indian beliefs and cultural systems. The plot of the film revolves around the titular mythical creature which wreaks havoc in the life of Bittu, portrayed by Abhay Verma.

Interestingly, Munjya also features Varun Dhawan in a cameo role at the end of the film, where Dhawan appears as his character from the film Bhediya. Munjya is the fourth release in Maddock Films’ universe of horror comedies. Earlier, movies including Stree (2018), Roohi (2021), and Bhediya (2022) were also produced by the same production house.
