Veteran actress Reema Lagoo, who returned to the small screen with Mahesh Bhatt’s Naamkarann playing the role of Dayawanti Mehta, passed away last month at the age of 59 after reportedly suffering from cardiac arrest. However, the actress complained of chest pain and was rushed to the Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital, Mumbai where she took her last breath. We also saw many TV celebrities had mourned the death of the veteran actress. Actress Divyanka Tripathi paid her tribute to Reema Lagoo on Twitter, she wrote, “#RIP Reema Lagoo ji. Big loss to the industry!” Also, Nach Baliye 8 host and actor Karan Tacker took to Twitter and wrote, “Such a pivotal part of the films I grew up to… truly sad.. RIP #ReemaLagoo ji.”

TV actor Zain Imam, who was also her co-star in Naamkarann wrote, “Nobody can match the zeal and enthusiasm you had ma’am. U will be missed RIP #Reemalagoo. Was indeed a pleasure working with you in Naamkarann.”
