In the glitzy and glamorous world of Bollywood, celebrities are always taking over the headlines. Whether it is for their personal life or professional life. Recently, one such similar situation happened when Neelam’s distressing flight experience with Etihad created a buzz. Actor Neelam Kothari, known for her work in the ’80s and ’90s and now seen in Fabulous Lives of Bollywood Wives, shared a distressing personal experience that has sparked concern and conversation online. She shared how her long-haul journey from Toronto to Mumbai turned into a nightmare.

Neelam Kothari’s Distressing Flight Incident

Taking to her social media, Neelam Kothari publicly tagged the airline to recount the incident and express her disappointment. She wrote, “Dear @etihad, I am extremely disappointed with the treatment I received on my recent flight from Toronto to Mumbai. Not only was my flight delayed by over 9 hours, but I also fell seriously ill on board, fainting after a meal.”

However, her disappointment didn’t end there. What troubled her more was the lack of attention and follow-up despite her condition. Neelam further added, “Despite a fellow passenger helping me back to my seat, I received no follow-up care or even a single check-in from your crew. I’ve tried contacting your customer service with no response. This level of neglect is unacceptable. Please address this matter urgently.”

The airline later responded to her post on X, writing, “Hi Neelam. Sorry to hear about that! Please get in touch with us via DM to look into this for you and assist accordingly. Thanks! Rose.”

However, the discussion intensified when a social media user reacted insensitively, saying, “Seems like a you problem. But let me try to get something out of it.”
Neelam replied firmly, reminding the user that empathy matters: “You wouldn’t be so flippant had it happened to you, my friend, or one of your loved ones!”
