Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant, who tied the wedding in Mumbai over the weekend, received a hearty welcome on Wednesday in Jamnagar, Gujarat. When the couple arrived in the town, the residents greeted them with tremendous excitement and kindness. Several videos that appeared online showed the residents of Jamnagar extending a hearty welcome to the newlyweds. In one of the heartwarming videos, people dressed in traditional sarees were seen greeting and blessing the bride.
Radhika and Anant appeared to be in equal happiness, and it’s fascinating to note that they were matching in their pink outfits. Anant chose a pink kurta with an ethnic jacket, while Radhika opted for a more understated outfit in a pink suit.

The duo is seen in another video welcoming the people who are eagerly awaiting their arrival while perched atop a luxurious vehicle. As everyone showered them with rose petals, they waved at them. The moment Anand and Radhika arrived together, the crowd went crazy. Many people showered them with flowers as they welcomed them to the sounds of the dhol.

Jamnagar holds a special place in the lives of Anant and Radhika. Earlier in March 2024, the pre-wedding functions were held in Jamnagar. Anant’s grandmother, Kokilaben Ambani, was born in Jamnagar, and it is the town where his grandfather Dhirubhai Ambani and father Mukesh Ambani’s business had its origins.
At one of the pre-wedding functions, Radhika revealed that she and Anant grew up in Jamnagar.”This is where we grew up, where we became friends, where we fell in love, and where we built our relationship. This place has become part of our fondest memories, our deepest secrets, our loudest laughs, and the happiest times that we’ve had together as a family, ” she mentioned earlier.
Several Bollywood stars, socialites Kim Kardashian and Khloe Kardashian, as well as a number of Indian politicians, attended the lavish wedding of Anant and Radhika on July 12. The blessing ceremony on July 13 and the celebration on July 14 were arranged by the Ambani and Merchant families following the wedding. Prime Minister Narendra Modi was present during the ritual of blessing.
