The Bachchan’s are known to host Holi party with much grandeur. All the B-townies come under one roof for this occasion. The Holi bash by the Bachchan’s is celebrated keeping in mind all the traditions related to the colourful festivity. The Bachchan family who have been following this tradition every year, will not be celebrating or hosting the occasion this year after Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s father Krishnaraj Rai’s critical condition. The Bachchan bahu’s father has been admitted at Lilavati Hospital in Mumbai and is in the ICU. Pictures of Aishwarya along with her husband Abhishek at the hospital took the internet by storm.
Our sources exclusively informed India.com that there is no Holi party for the Bachchan’s this year. Our sources told us, “The family has been following a tradition every year to celebrate the festival together. They make arrangements way in advance, check their work schedules to be able to come together on festivals – Diwali and Holi are very important. In fact Holi party at the Bachchan’s is one of the most talked about in B-town while it is an intimate family affair. Speaking further about the Holi celebration our sources revealed, “But this time, the entire household in under a pall of gloom since bahu Ash’s father is in a critical condition. Both Ash and Abhi have been busy at the hospital attending to him. The family is under immense stress and that’s why they have decided to not celebrate Holi. They will only indulge in the customary Holika Pooja but not play with colours the next day.
