Shilpa Shetty has been taking headlines for weird reasons off late. Reports state that Shilpa Shetty and Raj Kundra’s paradise has hit the rocks. The duo has been married for 7 years now and now we get to hear that they are planning to part ways. Shilpa Shetty, who is making a comeback on small screen with a kids dance show Super Dancer, is quite amused with the news. The Bollywood babe revealed that such reports are very embarrassing and also effects their equatin with friends. Shilpa was quoted by Times Of India, saying “Can you believe that kya sochkar likhte hai yaar. Even Raj and my friends were so embarrassed. I think some of my friends were having a party and they were scared to call Raj and me as they believed the rumour. One of them called and said ‘accha humne ghar par party rakhi hui hai aa jaana’. As I was travelling, I got to know from them about the rumour. I think it’s part and parcel of being a celebrity. People sometimes are bound to write rubbish. I have learnt to take it in my stride but that was very distasteful.”
But this is not the first time rumours of Shilpa and Raj heading for divorce is making rounds of the news. Last time, a few weeks before Shilpa Shetty’s 41st birthday, Raj was reportedly staying out if home and spending more time in office, which was quite unlikely. SpotboyE.com reported that Raj only came home to collect fresh pair of clothes every day. His showers, meals and naps are all done in the confines of his Bandra office. Surprising as it could be and a source close to the couple has also revealed that Raj hardly stays away from his house for such long intervals even if he is busy. The entertainment website also quoted a source saying that, “It’s unusual of Raj to spend such a long period away from home.” (ALSO READ: Confirmed! But soon, Raj clarified all the rumours saying that nothing of this is true. This time its Shilpa who came forward to safeguard her 7 year old marriage. When the bollywood actress was asked that there is no smoke without fire, Shilpa said, “Why would there be a problem? You are mad or what? I love my husband. He is my soulmate, touchwood! I think because I kept quiet, it was blown out of proportion. I am not one of those who really believe that I need to clarify anything to anyone. Unless it is something that I just feel is uncalled for. I always believe ‘agar maine isse zyaada importance diya toh aur bada ho jayega’. That’s the reason I kept quiet and I suddenly saw it snowballing. Shilpa knows it well that being a celebrity it’s difficult to stop circulation of such stories but she has find a good way out. “I switch off it’s not possible to survive, otherwise,” says the 41-year-old actress.
