Not Italian, Chinese, Shahi Paneer, Sarson saag, but Amitabh Bachchan enjoys this Bihar dish above all, says 'Agar Bihari...'
Superstar Amitabh Bachchan has recently talked about his love and admiration for the Bihari food litti chokha. During the quiz-based reality show ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati’ for juniors, the megastar was seen talking to a child who hails from Bihar. A small clip from the show was shared on Instagram with a caption, “AB ki Baat 100% sahi hai!”
Amitabh Bachchan was heard saying “Bihari hoker ke Litti-chokha na khaya ho ya usko pasand nahu kiya ho toh aap Bihari nahi hai… Humne bhi khaya hai isko…”
Litti chokha is a traditional dish from Bihar made of two parts: Liiti that is a round dough ball made from whole wheat, stuffed with a spiced mixture of sattu. While, Chokha is a mashed vegetable made from roasted vegetables like eggplant, tomato and potatoes.
Amitabh Bachchan confesses his love for Bihari food
This is not the first time when Amitabh Bachchan has mentioned his love for food on KBC. Once, he recalled regular visits to Delhi market where all kinds of food were available. He mentioned his love for chaats at Bengali Sweet House, Bengali Market, New Delhi.
As per TOI, Amitabh Bachchan’s daily meals usually consist of homecooked food. The actor’s breakfast include a glass of milk and scrambled eggs with no chillies. In lunch, when the actor is not shooting he have two-three rotis with plain dal and green vegetables. For dinner, Big B usually prefer soup and loves paneer bhurji too.
Meanwhile, on the professional front, Amitabh Bachchan was last seen in Vettaiyan and Kalki 2898 AD. In Vettaiyan, he worked with Rajinikanth on-screen after a gap of three decades.
