After the release of Pushpa 2, Allu Arjun’s latest release has shattered several records, with over 4 crore viewers flocking to theaters in just the second weekend alone. This makes it the highest-grossing film of 2024 and the third most-watched movie post-COVID, trailing only KGF Chapter 2 and RRR. Despite such stiff competition from major blockbusters like Pathaan and Jawan, Pushpa 2 continues to dominate the box office and has secured its place in the top 8 films with the largest theater attendance since the pandemic. KGF Chapter 2

KGF Chapter 2 was released in 2022 and was headed by Prashant Neel. This Yash starrer leads the list with an impressive footfall of over 5 crore.

RRR

Brought to life by SS Rajamouli. The epic action drama featuring Ram Charan and Jr. NTR ranks second, drawing around 4.40 crore viewers.

Pushpa 2

Allu Arjun’s Pushpa 2: The Rule has already crossed 4 crore viewers and continues to attract crowds, making it the third most-watched post-Covid film. The film is directed by none other than Sukumar.

Jawan

Helmed by Atlee, the film has a star-studded cast including Nayanthara, Deepika Padukone, Sunil Grover and many others. Shah Rukh Khan’s Jawan garnered a footfall of around 3.75 crore, surpassing Pathaan but fell short of RRR.

Pathaan

Directed by Siddharth Anand, Shah Rukh Khan’s Pathaan amassed 3.50 crore viewers.

Kalki 2898 AD

Released in 2024 Kalki 2898 AD was one of the most exciting films of 2024. Prabhas’ film received massive anticipation, and its footfall exceeded 3.50 crore.

Gadar 2

Directed by Anil Sharma, the Sunny Deol starrer Gadar 2 also performed well, with a footfall of 3.40 crore.

Animal

Ranbir Kapoor’s Animal, helmed by Sandeep Reddy vanga closed the list with around 3.30 crore viewers.
