In the glitzy and glamorous world of Indian cinema, fame, fortune, and family legacy often intertwine. While the entire industry and fans are engulfed in deep sorrow and continue to mourn the passing of legendary actor Dharmendra, a new revelation about his will has brought attention to his personal values and how they will be inherited.

A Decision That Surprised Many

According to reports, Dharmendra did not leave his ancestral property to any of his children, Sunny Deol, Bobby Deol, Ajeita, Vijeta, Esha Deol or Ahana Deol. Instead, he had already made a clear decision almost eight to ten years ago, choosing to gift his property to someone nobody would have guessed.

A Legacy Rooted in Punjab’s Soil

Dharmendra’s ancestral home is located in Dango, a village in the Ludhiana district of Punjab. Dhatmendra spent his early childhood here. However, his humble home, which many believe would be a modest mud-and-brick structure, is now reportedly valued in crores.

However, even after attaining major stardom and fortune, Dharmendra’s emotional connection with this land never faded.

Why He Chose His Nephews

After flourishing in Indian cinema, Dharmendra shifted to major cities; however, he always knew that the ancestral home required constant care, something his immediate family might not be able to offer due to their lives and careers elsewhere. But it was his nephews who continued to stay in the region, and therefore, they were the ones who nurtured the land and preserved the family’s heritage. For Dharmendra, this commitment meant everything.

As per reports, this property is worth around Rs 5 crore and spread across 2.5 acres. It was therefore entrusted to his uncle’s grandsons, including Boota Singh, who continues to work at a textile mill in Ludhiana.
A Final Tribute to His Roots

Dhamendra’s passing has left an irreplaceable void in the industry. But his decision regarding his ancestral home speaks about his grounded, sentimental and deeply emotional nature.
